BELGIUM VOLUNTEER

FIRE DEPARTMENT

We are currently accepting applications for volunteer firefighters, EMT's and first responders.  No experience necessary!

MEMBER
To become a probationary member of the Belgium Fire Department you must be 18 yrs of age, live within the jurisdiction, and be able to perform demanding tasks under extreme pressure. After a six month period  if all your probationary requirements are met. you will be accepted as a full-time volunteer member.  Upon joining the department you will be required to take a state certification class in firefighting or take a class for a emergency medical technician or first responder.

EXPLORER
To become an explorer member of the Belgium Fire Department you must between 15 and 18 yrs of age, live in the jurisdiction, and maintain a 2.0 G.P.A.
